Single family Housing and Design for Disassembly

The first project collaboration between the partners of Ax Jensen & Goehring Architects. Niels Boje Lund of MOHOCON and David Goehring first met through the Regen Villages project with Stanford University in 2014. The MOHOCON housing project features the development of an innovative construction wall unit to be used in prototype single family home development. The unique concept is for the homeowner to have the ultimate ‘machine for living’- a flexible building envelop with the capability to adapt to changing family needs over time. The development team is currently performing engineering testing and patenting for the unit and a pre-funding submittal. Upon securing final funding, (4) model homes will be designed and constructed for the Danish middle to luxury housing market.
